What does it mean by 30 hours famine??
At 1st, im quite curious about it...have to fast for 30 hours, i heard about this camp for quite long time ago...during my secondary school i guess......my classmate joined this camp b4, but she have to collect Rm100 donation from people, then only she can join the camp!!

But, i feel like...huh? have to ask those people to donate? but...im lazy to beg people or ask them to donate....some more have to fast for 30 hours ( r u sure? can i do it?)
besides that, this camp only held in KL....we have to go to KL just to participate this 30 hours fasting?? oh oh...no way...rather save up my time....so ended up...i gave up!!

And because of this attitude...our children who really need our help has lost another hope!

so this year, the organizers had decided to make a change on this camp! every states in Malaysia can conduct their own DIY group for that camp and later on, gather in KL to countdown for the last 6 hours of fasting.

Hahaha...i told myself...this is my chance to help those children who really in need...so, ah-Ying and I went to the booth and got the registration form filled!!!

at first, ah-Ying , Fen and i wanted to join the camp...but at last, only ah-Ying and I, cuz Fen can't go due to some reason!!so we started to collect the money...omg...who im gonna approach 1st?..(scratching my head)

finally...haha...i had found a water-fish(shui yu)...my brother...haha..jus joking..he's not a water fish but an angel....help me to get the donation from his friends...he's really a nice guy tho....thank u guys for yr donation!!!

finally...i got RM85 from him...ans i have donated for RM15....(i know..it is less...but im broken right now!) Altogther is RM100....haha...i can join this camp...Hoo-ray!!!("what so happy huh? stupid ar u? have to fasting leh!!! u really siao lo!! "scolded by some people!!)

But i dun care...cuz i WANT THE T-SHIRT....hahaha....because of the t-shirt...i joined this camp!!...plz dun misunderstand...it's not the only reason for joining this camp...but there is another reason....i really want to feel the starvation!!! ("u dont eat for whole day la...wat for by joining this camp...no different also wat!"some people said tat)

actually it is a very big different!

during this camp, u really have to feel the starvation, the hunger, the tiredness and the sleepiness(jus kidding).....we have to play games with empty stomach....take the water from east to west...running here and there...build house with newpapers....wash cloth with dirty water.....and so on....the main purpose is for us to FEEL it....

u have to fast and at the mean time u need to do alot of jobs....to feel how the poor people survive in their countries....no food...no clean water...no house or even small hut or shelter....but only a very simple and crude house tat was made by leaves and straw for thatching roof....

besides that, they have to get the clean water tat are very far away from their homes....about 4 to 5km...can u imagine that? tired and hungry...but u have to walk tat far to get a clean water...
so imagine...how lucky we are...treasure every single thing that we have ryt now....less spending, less complaining, less wasting and more recycle and plz do more donation!!! not only in term of money, u can donate food or clothes....jus go ahead!!!....don't just say it, work it out....take action!!!

some of the people....they think that if they donate RM5...cant even help the poor kid...so y dont they jus save it up....but they do not know...even rm1 can save a thousand or millions life!!!...jus imagine....1 person donate rm1, what if 100 people....we get rm100....how bout thousand and millions people???so think of it!!....a cent can make a different!!!

so y don't we help them!!!
